The Project
SUMMARY
"Lifestyle, energy and environment" - the influence of the lifestyle of young students on the use of energy and the impact on the environment.
From august 2008 until july 2010 schools for secondary education from Germany, Northern Ireland, Italy and the Netherlands will do a comparative study on the influence of lifestyle of young students on the use of energy and the impact on the environment.
Students will also research what they can do to reduce the amount of energy used and how they can affect the environment.
To increase the knowledge of the lifestyle of the students living in the participating countries.
To promote the role of the European Union in the different countries. To become more aware of environmental issues and how they can make an impact on them. To improve their understanding/competence of science, foreign language by cooperating with students from other countries on this project to help prepare them for working life.
